STEM Georgia Sets Goal of 300 in 3

                                                                                           

The Georgia Department of Education offers a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Certification to K-12 schools.  The rigorous criteria require that schools integrate the STEM curriculum, form meaningful business and community partnerships, and provide high level academic challenges to all students. STEM Certification Rubrics are  available for schools to self-assess and make school level adjustments. A goal of certifying 300 STEM schools in three years has been set and a concentrated effort from the Department, STEM businesses, universities, and community has been put in motion to support this effort.
